Signature Peptide Array Service

Inquiry

Quantitative targeted absolute proteomics (QTAP) quantifies proteins by measuring the signature peptides produced from target proteins by trypsin digestion. The selection of signature peptides is critical for reliable peptide quantification. ALL Chemistry can produce high-quality signature peptide array and related services for scientists worldwide.

Introduction of Signature Peptide Array Service

Signature peptides are unique tags or biomarkers, detected as molecular markers or as unique sequence tags. Signature peptides are useful tools for biomarker discovery and measurements. Signature Peptide Array covers 29,240 randomized 15-mer linear peptides with varying amino acid distribution in duplicate. Moreover, the microarray contains HA, polio and c-Myc positive control peptides. The microarray can be used for epitope mapping, serum screening, antigen discovery as well as antibody cross-reactivity analysis. Screen your antibody or serum samples against entire pathogen proteomes, known immunogenic epitopes, multiple antigen sets, or even random peptides for Signature Peptide Array. Designed by scientists for scientists, each microarray contains carefully selected libraries of highly overlapping peptides, covering protein and antigen sequences of interest across different research areas.

Absolute quantification is needed for biomarker analysis and system biology research. Typically quantitative proteomic approaches involve mass spectrometric determination of signature peptides which are usually enzymatically derived together with their isotope-labeled analogs. In general, tryptic peptides of target proteins are used. Unique peptide sequences are important for protein identification and selected signature peptides can be used as peptide or protein biomarkers. With advanced technologies and expertise, Signature Peptide Array Service ensures high-quality peptide synthesis, accurate peptide immobilization on solid surfaces, and precise data analysis. This service provides a cost-effective and time-efficient solution for researchers seeking to explore the functional properties of peptides and proteins, ultimately contributing to advancements in various fields of biomedical research.

Details of Signature Peptide Array Service

A web tool called Unimap allows in-silico searching for signature peptides to find. The uniqueness of a measured molecular mass or peptide sequence plays a very important role in the fields of protein identification and peptide/protein-biomarker investigation.

--A given molecular mass that is a unique molecular mass present or found in one human protein. a given molecular mass refers to a unique molecular weight that is present or found exclusively in one human protein. Each protein possesses a specific sequence of amino acids, and the molecular mass is determined by the sum of the individual masses of these amino acids.  The uniqueness of a measured molecular mass or peptide sequence plays a very important role in the fields of protein identification and peptide/protein-biomarker investigation.

--A given peptide sequence or sequences found exclusively in one human protein. Proteins are composed of chains of amino acids, and specific sequences of these amino acids are unique to each protein. By identifying and characterizing these exclusive peptide sequences, researchers can determine the presence or absence of a particular protein within a sample. When a sequence is found to be unique in humans, the application is able to search across all species querying whether this sequence is unique, not only in humans but also in other species found in the Swiss-Prot Database.

--A specific protein for which unique masses or peptide sequences exist. The identification and characterization of proteins with such unique features contribute to our understanding of protein diversity, function, and their roles in various biological processes. Through this application, researchers are able to find unique tags, either on a molecular mass level or on a sequence level. These unique tags are remarkably important in research related to protein identification or biomarker discovery and measurements.

Signature Peptide Array Service at ALL Chemistry

ALL Chemistry offers signature peptide microarrays for our clients to finish immunosignature tests and screen new biomarkers in a convenient way. The microarrays consist of random peptides spotted or synthesized on standard glass slides or onto silicon dioxide, respectively. Each peptide is a random sequence. The peptides are exactly 20 amino acids long with a constant GSC linker (for spotted arrays) or ~14 amino acids long with a GSG linker (for in situ synthesized arrays). A typical peptide selection workflow includes: (1) Theoretical = “in-silico”(2) Empirical and Experimental (3) Quantitative Assay. ALL Chemistry also offers online peptide array design tools to help generate different peptide arrays based on your specific requirements.

Advantages of Our Services

-- Molecular verifications by fingerprinting of sera antibody profile, and discovery of biomarkers in sera or plasma.

-- Identification of new proteins in diseased tissues and treated cells.

-- No cross contamination, and we guarantee the quality of each and every peptide produced. All purified peptides will be delivered with the MS/HPLC reports.

-- High density and high throughput. Tens of thousands of proteins-polypeptide biochemical reactions can be determined simultaneously.

-- High Specificity. Mechanism of protein binding can be deeply revealed by accurate positioning of specific antibody epitope and protein binding regions.

-- Low cost, short cycle and simple operation. The cost of "peptide array chip" is a hundredth of biological culture.

-- Instant online quotation: Convenient online submission of your peptide array requirement.
